In 2023, Waterman celebrates its 140th anniversary and, to mark this milestone, they have released a limited edition fountain pen called the Waterman Man 140. The Man 140 pays homage to its predecessor, the Man 100, which was introduced in 1983 to commemorate Waterman's 100th anniversary. It retains the most iconic features of the Man 100, such as its tubular shape, while incorporating a fresh and modern interpretation of this classic design.

The black PVD-coated details and detailed carved, enclosed wave pattern are a powerful example of the all-black, monochromatic aesthetic of the MAN 140. The 18-karat gold nib with its updated, two-tone design in gold and ruthenium perfectly complements original features such as the iconic two-tone clip and the looped 'W' of the cap. Each pen is carefully assembled by hand in France, demonstrating Waterman's Gallic craftsmanship.
